He enters the 06-07 season ranked no worse than fifth in all Blazers offensive categories. He ranks ranked third in goals (157), points (349), short-handed goals (10), game-winners (26), shots (1,398), fourth in assists (192) and penalty minutes (865) and fifth in games played (313), power-play goals (41) and +/- rating (+71).

Fleck, a 5-10, 200-pounder from Carlyle, Saskatchewan is entering his eighth season as a pro, all with Oklahoma City. As team captain last season he recorded 21 points (7-14-21), scored a career high seven goals, was a team high +18 and served 163 penalty minutes. He enters the 06-07 season ranked second in penalty minutes (898), second in minor penalties (275) and fourth in games played (363) on the Blazers all-time list.

"We've secured a good portion of our leadership back from last season's squad. Two cornerstones of our team," said Sauter. "Both are coming off of good seasons with us. I compare this to building a bridge. One needs several pillars to build a bridge to a championship. These two are the first pillars toward that goal."

Fleck and Standish are the first two veteran players signed by Sauter for the 06-07 season. Each CHL team is permitted to carry four players with more than 280 games of professional experience.

The Blazers begin play in their historic 15th season in late October.
