(Calgary) â Calgary Stampeder Owner Michael Feterik today announced that the team will be holding the line for their 2005 SEASON TICKET prices. This marks the 3rd consecutive season that the Red and White have not increased season ticket prices.
"We continue to have the strongest season ticket base in the CFL, I would like to thank all of our season ticket holders for their continued support. Next season we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of this storied franchise and we want to remain the most affordable professional sports franchise in the city" stated Stampeder Owner Michael Feterik.
Once again this season the Stampeders are enjoying another successful season at the gate. Of the 8 regular season home games to date the Stampeders have attracted 4 crowds over 30,000 including two sell-outs of 35,651 while averaging 30,443 fans per game.
In the last 53 regular season games, the Stampeders have broken the 30,000 fan barrier 46 times, the streak of 33 consecutive games of 30,000 fans plus ended on September 14th,2003 when 29, 432 tickets were sold vs the Bombers.
Not only are the Stampeders holding the line for the 2005 season ticket prices but beginning November 1st through to December 1st Stampeders fans can save up to $25.00 per ticket with a new pre-early bird special. Included in this special savings are White Season tickets available at an affordable price of JUST $89.00 per seat a savings of $31.00 off the regular price of $120.00.
From December 2nd to December 23rd fans can save up to $15.00 per ticket as the early bird prices kick in.
