Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders have added import defensive back Gerrick McPhearson to the practice roster. McPhearson was drafted by the New York Giants in the 2006 NFL Draft (232 overall) and spent time on their practice roster.
Prior to the draft, McPhearson played five seasons with the University of Maryland. The five-foot-ten, 196 pounder had one interception as a Terrapin and was one of the fastest defensive backs at the NFL combine running a 4.42, 40-yard dash.
