Stampeders Open Pre-Season against Eskimos

The Calgary Stampeders open the 2012 CFL pre-season on Friday night when they play host to the arch-rival Edmonton Eskimos at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Stamps and Esks met three times during the 2011 regular-season, with Edmonton taking two of the three games. Calgary, Edmonton and the BC Lions ended the 2011 regular season tied atop the West Division standings with 11-7 records.

Tickets

Tickets are still available for the pre-season opener and all Stamps regular-season games. Fans are encouraged to contact the Ticket Office at (403-289-0258 or 1-800-667-3267) or visit Stampeders.com to get tickets for the game. Fans are also reminded that 2012 Stamps season tickets are still available. This is the most cost-effective way to see your team all season long.

Fun Zone

The Stampeders invite their fans to show up early to Friday night's game. Once again, the Fun Zone will be the place for fans to meet Stampeder players from 5-6 p.m. The Fun Zone is located opposite the Ticket Office on the east side of McMahon Stadium.

Stampeders Kids Club

The Stampeders have teamed up with New York Fries to introduce a new and exciting Kids Club! Stop by the tent in the North concourse behind sections J & K to find out more! Memberships are just $25 for the entire season and include, among other things, an official membership card and lanyard, 20 per cent discount to the Stamps' Store (one-time use) and a Kids Club starter pack. The pack includes a Stamps drawstring backpack, autograph pen, mini football, Game Face T-shirt and a $20 gift voucher to New York Fries.
