
Stampeders Add Hecht to Practice Roster

Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce that non-import defensive back Jeff Hecht has signed with the team. As per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Hecht dressed for all 18 regular-season games in 2011 and the East Division semifinal with the Montreal Alouettes, spending time at cornerback and safety as well as on special teams. He recorded 32 tackles, six special-teams tackles, one forced fumble and one interception.
Hecht played two seasons with the Saint Mary's Huskies and, prior to that, spent five seasons with the junior Edmonton Wildcats.
