
Stampede Acquire Forward Stephanik from Lincoln

Sioux Falls, SD-The Sioux Falls Stampede announced today they have acquired forward Jason Stephanik (Steph-ah-nick) from the Lincoln Stars in exchange for a draft pick in the 2014 USHL Phase 2 Draft and future considerations.
The Monroe, NY native played in 19 games this season with the Stars, posting six points on three goals and three assists. Prior to joining the Stars this season, Stephanik spent the past two seasons skating with the New Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL). With the HItmen, he racked up 93 points (43g, 50a) in 87 career games.
The 6-foot-2, 177-pound winger could make his Stampede debut tonight when the Herd travel to Fargo to face the Force and will wear #20. Game time tonight is 7:05 PM and fans can catch all the action live on KELO News Talk 1320-AM, 107.9-FM and www.kelo.com starting at 6:40 PM.
