St. Louis Ambush News Release
Saint Charles, Missouri - The St. Louis Ambush host the Baltimore Blast Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 6:05 p.m. CT at The Family Arena.
The Ambush enter the game with a 1-7-2 (wins-losses-overtime losses) record on the season and are hungry to turn things around. Baltimore has had their own struggles this season but come to town with a better 4-4-0 record.
Saturday's match is the second and final meeting between St. Louis and Baltimore slated for the 2023-24 regular season. The Blast won the first battle between the two teams in an 8-7 overtime affair January 5 at the TU Arena in Towson, Maryland. Both teams should be well-rested and ready to go on Saturday. St. Louis last played one week ago. They lost 7-3 to Utica City FC last Saturday, January 13 at The Family Arena. Baltimore last played two weeks ago. They defeated the Harrisburg Heat 5-3 on January 13 at the TU Arena.
January 20 is also "Kick Cancer Night" when the Ambush will partner with Siteman Cancer Center to raise awareness and support for cancer research. Ambush players will wear special jerseys. The featured jerseys, created by OT Sports and generously provided by Siteman, will be auctioned off to raise funds for Siteman Cancer Center's Discovery Fund, supporting ongoing cancer research initiatives. The first 1,000 fans in attendance Saturday night will also get a premium giveaway. The lucky early arrivals will receive a bobblehead of popular Ambush forward William Eskay, courtesy of Siteman.
