SIOUX FALLS, SD- St. Joe (5-5, 31-27) fell behind early and could not recover against Sioux Falls (5-4, 21-36) in the series finale before losing, 13-4. Chad Hermansen got the Canaries started with a two-run home run in the first and they never looked back.

But Sioux Falls put it away late with seven runs scoring after the sixth inning, including four more in the eighth for the cherry on the rout.

Scooter Jordan, Denver Kitch and Misha Dworken had two hits apiece in the loss.
