St. Joseph Blacksnakes News Release
ST. JOSEPH, MO-For the first time ever, the Blacksnakes are rained out. The series opener with the St. Paul Saints was washed away and the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games, beginning at 6:05pm on Monday night.
Andrew Edwards (1-4) will start the opener for the Blacksnakes against the Saints' Anthony Boughner (7-6). Jesen Merle (4-5) takes the hill in the nightcap against St. Paul's Brian Whinnery (1-0).
The gates open at 6pm for the critical matchup for the wild card chase in the American Association. It is our last "Margarita Monday" promotion and we hope for a strong crowd for Monday's doubleheader with St. Paul.
The webcast will begin at 5:55pm for the twin bill.
