Coming off an emphatic 3-0 home win over the San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City now prepares to host arch rivals St. Louis CITY SC for the first time on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park as the MLS expansion side travels cross-state for the highly-anticipated match-up.

Tickets for Saturday's showdown are available online at SeatGeek, including standing-room only tickets, and ticket holders can pre-order the SKCvSTL Spark the Flames collection - featuring a pair of scarves and a glow in the dark tee -- on SportingStyle.com for matchday pick up at Children's Mercy Park on Saturday. In addition, fans will receive 20% off all pre-orders over $100 on SportingStyle.com this week and fans can also receive 20% off all orders on MLSstore.com with the code 20MLS (exclusions apply) until 10:59 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

The Western Conference clash will be broadcast live on Apple TV in English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers. Local radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams in the Sporting KC app, while pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will show all of the action.

Sporting KC also announced today the launch of the club's Blue Hell Week campaign for fans to take advantage of exclusive offers from local partners ahead of SKCvSTL by using the phrase "BEAT STL" at Guy's Deli, Guy's Bodega, Jefferson's (Lenexa location), Parisi (Overland Park and Union Station locations), No Other Pub and Westport Ale House.

Sporting KC midfielder Erik Thommy is one of four finalists for AT&T 5G Goal of the Matchday for MLS Matchday 28 with fan voting taking place on Twitter . The 29-year-old German playmaker capped off an impressive 38-pass buildup - tied for the longest since Opta began collecting MLS data in 2010 - with a stunning strike in the 69th minute of Saturday's 3-0 win over San Jose.

Sporting KC will host Sporting Slam at Chicken N Pickle (5901 W. 135th St.) in Overland Park from 6-9:30 p.m. CT on Thursday with all proceeds from the club's inaugural pickleball tournament supporting The Victory Project. Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members and members of Sporting KC supporters groups are eligible to receive complimentary tickets for Sporting away matches. Away ticket requests for Sporting's match at Minnesota United FC on Sept. 16 will close this Friday. Requests are also open for Sporting's road trip to play Real Salt Lake on Oct. 7 and requests will close two weeks before each away match or once the allotment of away supporters tickets is reached.

Sporting Kansas City II will aim to extend a three-match winning streak on their push to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro playoffs when the team visits LA Galaxy II on Sunday.
