SINGLE-GAME TICKETS AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FEB. 17
Single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City's first eight home matches of the 2012 MLS season at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Feb. 17.
Individual match tickets for each of the opening eight home games on the Sporting KC schedule -- beginning with the highly anticipated home opener on Saturday, March 17 and continuing through the visit from rivals Chicago Fire on Friday, June 29 -- will be available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com or at the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Box Offices (open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT).
Current Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for all 17 regular season home matches at discounted Members pricing and will have access to acquire their single-game tickets in advance through a special two-day pre-sale, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. CT on Monday, Feb. 13 and end at 10:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Wyandotte County residents may also purchase single-game tickets for the designated eight home matches prior to the general public by taking advantage of their pre-sale window from 10:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 15 through 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 16.
SPORTING KC DEFEATS SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES 2-1 IN PRE-SEASON OPENER
Sporting Kansas City topped the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 on Saturday in the club's first pre-season match of 2012 at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz.
The first half saw two goals within the opening five minutes, one from San Jose's Chris Wondolowski, followed by a goal from Sporting's Kei Kamara. Sporting Kansas City midfielder Konrad Warzycha curled home a free kick from 25-yards to give Sporting Kansas City the victory.
Sporting Kansas City will continue their pre-season preparations at the Kino Sports Complex throughout next week before facing D.C. United in another friendly next Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. CT in Casa Grande. Follow @SKCgameday on Twitter to follow matches.
VERMES, ZAVAGNIN ON NATIONAL SOCCER HALL OF FAME BALLOT
U.S. Soccer announced the National Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2012 ballot, with Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes and Assistant Coach Kerry Zavagnin among the 31 players up for election on thePlayer ballot. Also appearing are former Kansas City players Jose Burciaga,Jr., Mike Burns, Chris Henderson, Roy Lassiter and Tony Meola.
Voting will conclude on Feb. 17 and the results will be announced shortly after. The National Soccer Hall of Fame voting pool includes all Hall of Famers, select soccer administrators and designated media members. Each voter can list up to 10 candidates per ballot. Any player appearing on at least 66.7 percent of ballots will earn election.
ESPN TO TELEVISE SPORTING'S MATCH VERSUS GALAXY AT LSP
Sporting Kansas City's match on Saturday, April 7th against the LA Galaxy will now kick off at 3:00 p.m. CT on ESPN at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. The marquee match, featuring the top teams in the Eastern and Western Conference from last season, was moved one hour earlier from the previously scheduled 4 p.m. CT start time to accommodate the programming move from ESPN2 to ESPN, the network's flagship channel.
Sporting Kansas City's home schedule features seven nationally televised matches in 2012, highlighted by the visit from the defending MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy on April 7. The only regular season meeting between the LA Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City in 2012, the April 7 encounter will also be broadcast live on ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPN Mobile TV, ESPN3 and WatchESPN and is one of 10 currently scheduled MLS regular season matches to be shown on ESPN (along with 10 additional regular season matches on ESPN2, including Sporting Kansas City's home match against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, August 26).

KEEP UP WITH SPORTING KANSAS CITY AT PRE-SEASON CAMP
Sporting Kansas City has taken their pre-season training to a warmer climate in Tucson, Ariz. The team will train at the Kino Sports Complex until Feb. 14 and willface the San Jose Earthquakes, D.C. United and FC Tucson before returning to Kansas City to resume training on Feb. 16.

SPORTING KANSAS CITY RELEASES HALF-SEASON TICKET PACKAGES
Sporting Kansas City has released half-season ticket packages for the 2012 Major League Soccer season at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.
The packages, which start at just $210, include access to a total of 10 matches at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park and are offered in six different seating categories throughout the state-of-the-art stadium.

For 2012, Sporting Kansas City will offer two plans with access to two different sets of matches. Both plans will feature the March 17 homeopener against the New England Revolution, along with a match against the Chicago Fire and a special match to be announced later. Fans that purchase the ten-match plan will also be given seating priority for Sporting Kansas Cityplayoff matches at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in the 2012 season. Full season tickets, including the newly introduced Providence Family Plan, are also currently available for supporters to secure their seats at all 17 home MLSmatches at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. SPORTING KC UNVEILS BOYS AND GIRLS YOUTH SOCCER CAMPS FOR 2012
Sporting Kansas City and the Sporting Kansas City Juniors youth development academy will again offer a series of youth soccer camps in 2012 for boys and girls of all ages. Please see the list of scheduled camps below:
- Spring Break Camp : March 12-14 for boys ages 9-16 ($130)
- Invite-Only Sessions : April 2 - May 1 (Monday's only) for U11 - U14 boys ($255)

SERIES TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR OLYMPIC QUALIFYING AT LIVESTRONG SPORTING PARK
Series tickets for the elimination-round matches of the 2012 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park are now available to purchase by the general public .
A series ticket consists of a ticket to all three matches at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, beginning with the decisive semifinalmatches on Saturday, March 31 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. CT and culminating with the championship match on Monday, April 2 at 7 p.m. CT. Series tickets begin at $56 for all three matches (seating and pricing chart on right) and can be ordered online at ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, at local Ticketmaster ticket centers and at the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park box offices .
Individual tickets will go on sale at a later date, pending availability.

2012 HOME OPENER SET FOR MARCH 17
Sporting Kansas City will play their first home match of 2012 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on Saturday, March 17 against the New England Revolution. The match comes one week after Sporting Kansas City opens the 2012 season on the road at D.C. United on Saturday, March 10. 2012 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Season tickets for the 2012 Sporting Kansas City season at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park are now on sale . Fans ages 21 and older now have the option to purchase season tickets in the Budweiser Corner at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, an all-inclusive terrace area which provides stadium-style food options and draft beer choices.
