Sporting Kansas City Return Home for Playoff Game

Following a 2-0 win over the reigning MLS Cup Champion Colorado Rapids on Sunday, Sporting Kansas City will prepare for the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. The match, presented by Applebee's, will be broadcast live on FOX Soccer with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Less than 1,000 tickets remain for the first-ever playoff game at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster, by calling 888-4KC-GOAL or by visiting the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Box Offices.

A win, draw or a one-goal loss on Wednesday in the decisive match of the two-game, aggregate goal series will send Sporting through to the Eastern Conference Championship, to be held on Sunday, November 6th at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park if Sporting Kansas City advances. Tickets for Sunday's potential Eastern Conference Championship match at LSP go on sale to the general public at 12:30 p.m. CT today.

Also on Tuesday, the Kansas City Cauldron, Sporting Kansas City's largest supporters group, willhost a Sporting Kansas City Playoff Rally at 6:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday on the KC Live! Stage in the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City, Mo. All media are welcome to attend the event, which will have interview opportunities with Sporting Kansas City players, coaches and fans in attendance.

Admission is free for all ages, and doors open to the rally at 6:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday. Sports Radio 810 WHB host Nate Bukaty will emcee the event with other special guests invited to take the stage.
