The World Basketball Association and Commisioner Mike Glenn announces John Spivey, a 6-6 PF from Lindsay Wilson College (KY), has been allocated to the Kentucky Reach. Spivey averaged 15.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, while leading Lindsay Wilson to a 30-4 overall record and a 2nd round birth in the 2004-5 NAIA National Tournament.

The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA, under new Commissioner Mike Glenn, is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. The WBA is the next best thing to the NBA! The WBA will hold its Free Agent Draft Camp on April 15-16 at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
