Frazier allocated to Gulf Coast Bandits of WBA

April 7, 2005 - World Basketball Association (WBA) - Gulf Coast Bandits News Release


Atlanta, GA - The World Basketball Association and Commissioner Mike Glenn announce that Winsome Frazier, a 6-4 180 G/F from Mississippi State, has been allocated to the Gulf Coast Bandits. Averaged 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, while helping to lead State to a 23-11 overall record during his Senior season. He had a season high 30 points against UMKC on 11/23/04. He was named the SEC's Best Defender in 2004 by Lindy's and Street & Smith, after leading the conference steals his junior season. Averaged 13.1 ppg, 2.4 steals and 4.1 rebounds his junior campaign. Winsome was an all-state performer at Miami's Northwestern High School, where he averaged 18.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game as a senior in earning Class 6A first-team all-state honors and helping lead the Bulls to a 26-5 record.
