UCA's Lamar Grimes allocated to WBA' Arkansas team

Atlanta, GA - The World Basketball Association and Commisioner Mike Glenn announces Lamar Grimes, a 6-0 Guard from Central Arkansas, has been allocated to the Arkansas ArcAngels, based out of Little Rock. Grimes, from Chicago, was named to the First Team All-Gulf South Conference for being the Bears' leading scorer at 16.1 points per game and among the conference leaders in assists (4.9), steals (1.8) and three-point field goal percentage (.433%). Grimes helped lead UCA to a 23-8 record and to the 2nd round of the NCAA Division II Tournament in his Senior campaign. Visit the Central Arkansas sports websites at www.ucasports.com .

The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA, under new Commissioner Mike Glenn, is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. The WBA is the next best thing to the NBA!
