
Spitfires Sign 6th Round Pick Michael Lavigne to an OHL Standard Player Agreement

WINDSOR, ON. - The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce the signing of Michael Lavigne to an OHL scholarship and development agreement.
Lavigne was selected #120 overall by the Spitfires in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection draft. Michael hails from Scarborough, Ontario. He stands at 6'5 and weighs 200lbs.
Lavigne played for the Toronto Jr Canadiens during the 2022-23 season. He recorded 1 goal and 2 assists in 32 games on the backend during the season. In the OHL Cup, Michael scored once and recorded 3 assists in 7 games.
The Scarborough native is excited to be joining the club.
"I feel very honoured to sign with such a great organization that has a great fan base and history." Lavigne said. "I'm looking forward to making a positive impact on the team."
Bill Bowler spoke on Lavigne putting pen to paper.
"Michael is a big body that defends with a purpose, we love his compete." GM Bill Bowler said. "We se a lot of upside in this young man."
