Spitfires Sign 2010 Fourth Round Pick Bryan Deeley to OHL Contract

(Windsor) Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel today announced the signing of U.S. defenceman Bryan Deeley, Windsor's fourth round pick, 73rd overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection to an OHL contract and education package.

Deeley, a 16 year-old right defenceman is listed at 5'11" and 170 pounds, and played 65 games for the Syracuse Jr. Nationals U-16 Minor Midgets of the U.S. Eastern Junior Hockey League. He scored 14 goals while registering 31 points for the Nationals last season.

"We are excited to add Bryan to our organization and he will be a big part of our team's future. I like his tenacity and hardnosed approach to the game. Bryan will attend our training camp next week and we look forward to having him in Windsor for the next four seasons," said Warren Rychel.
