Windsor, Ont. - The Saginaw Spirit (4-2-1-0) resumes their road swing as they face the Windsor Spitfires (4-0-2-0) Thursday, October 20 at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario.

Last Time:

Saginaw lost their first overtime game 4-3 Saturday, October 15, against the Erie Otters. Roberto Mancini scored twice in the loss.

Windsor was defeated in overtime 5-4 Saturday, October 15, against the Owen Sound Attack. Matthew Maggio scored twice including the final goal for the Spitfires in the loss.

Head-to-Head Matchup:

Saginaw and Windsor have met once this season and the Spitfires won 5-4 October 8, 2022. Tonight, marks the first time the two teams will meet at the WFCU Centre in Windsor.

This is the 126th all-time regular season meeting between the Spirit and the Spitfires. Saginaw is 49-61-9-4 with two ties, and posts a 19-38-4-1 mark on the road against the Spits since the 2002-03 inaugural Spirit season.

Tristan Lennox leads the team with 3.64 goals against average (GAA) and a .864 save percentage (SV%).

New York Islanders prospect Matthew Maggio leads the Spitfires with eight points. Alex Christopoulos leads the team in goals with five. Six players are tied for the lead in assists with four. Joey Costanzo leads the team with 1.90 GAA and a .946 SV%.
