IceDogs Game Day Preview

October 20, 2022 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

Happy game day! Tonight the IceDogs are taking on the visiting Erie Otters for our first specialty jersey game, First Responders Night.

The festivities at the Meridian Centre start at 5:30pm! Before the game there will be an opportunity to meet some first responders in our community and for the kids to check out a Niagara Regional Police cruiser, Niagara EMS Ambulance, and a fire truck from the St. Catharines station! There will be Community Care bins at every entrance, so don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item.

We'll be having our post-game jersey auction in section 105 for for the game-worn specialty jerseys (run by Lukes Auctions)! All proceeds go to Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold.

This is the first regular season meeting between these two clubs. After last weekends 7-3 win vs Flint the IceDogs are sitting at a 3-3-1 record while Erie has a 2-3-0-2 record. In their last 2 games Erie was handed an 8-2 loss by the Flint Firebirds and a picked up a 4-3 OT win at home vs Saginaw Spirit.
