The first goal came from winger Kenny Ryan (NHL TORONTO MAPLELEAFS) at 6:01, assisted by defenseman Mark Cundari (NHL ST. LOUIS BLUES) and winger Dale Mitchell (NHL TORONTO MAPLELEAFS). Saginaw rallied in the second period with two straight tallies of their own.
