Special Jets Advance Playoff Ticket Sale

The Janesville Jets have home-ice advantage in the first round of the 2012 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Midwest Division playoffsand play the Springfield Jr. Blues this Friday and Saturday night at the Janesville Ice Arena.Both of those games start at 7 PM, with the box office/doors opening at 5:45 PM.

The Jets will open up theJanesville IceArena box office for a special sale this Thursday, April 5th from 11:30 AM to 1 PM for those who desire to get their playoff tickets in advance. The rink address is 821 Beloit Avenue.

Tickets will also be available for purchase on those game nights while supplies last at the Janesville Ice Arena box office starting at 5:45 PM or in advance by calling (608) 752-5387 (JETS). Playoff ticket pricing will be the same as the regular season: Only $10 for adults, $7 for children 5 to 18 and seniors 62 and over, and kids 4 and under are free. Special discounted group packages are also available, but must be purchased in advance.

The playoff series are best three-out-of-five games. Here are the schedule dates and times for the Jets vs. Springfield:

Game 1 - Friday, April 6, 7 PM - in Janesville

Game 2 - Saturday, April 7, 7 PM - in Janesville

Game 3 - Friday, April 13, 7 PM - in Springfield

Game 4* - Saturday, April 14, 7 PM - in Springfield

Game 5* - Sunday April 15, 5 PM - in Janesville

(*If necessary.)

Additionally, the Jets will also be selling tickets to their end-of-the-season banquet at the rink on Thursday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The banquet event is Tuesday, April 10th, at 6 PM at the Craig High School cafeteria. Ticket cost for the banquet is only $10 for adults and $7 for kids. They will also be available atthe playoffgames before the event or by calling (608) 752-5387.

The banquet event benefits the Jets Community Fund. A delicious dinner buffet is provided by the Italian House. WCLO's Sports Director Al Fagerli will be the master of ceremonies with media sponsorship provided by both WCLO and WJVL. The Jets players will do a special autograph signing at the banquet. Also, this is the only opportunity the rest of the season to purchase a game-used Jets jersey. There will be a live auction for both the white home and blue away Jets jerseys. Additionally, there will be special raffle prize giveaways.
