Tri-Cities Fever News Release
The Tri-Cities Fever have announced that they will wear a special military edition jersey Saturday June 14, 2008, as they take on in-state archrival Spokane Shock on the Fever's Military Night.
These rare flag jerseys are a must have for any Fever fan and will be auctioned off individually through a silent auction on the arena concourse, in which all of the proceeds will be donated to Camp Patriot to help disabled veterans.
Come show your support as we recognize and salute our United States military throughout the entire night.
Also in town that weekend is the Seattle Seahawks 2nd annual Blue Tour. Joining the Blue Tour will be members of the Seahawks Blue Thunder drumline, Sea Gals, mascot Blitz, Seahawks staff, alumni and Seahawks players. The Seahawks have teamed-up with the Tri-Cities Fever along with several community partners to organize fun Blue Tour activities for the whole family. These activates include: pre-game tailgate at Outback Steakhouse, Gatorade Junior Training Camp to learn football drills on Gesa Field at the Toyota Center, dances from the Sea Gals, drumming from the Blue Thunder drumline, a Father's Day pancake breakfast and a Seahawk 12th Man Flag raising.
The Fever will be unveiling the Special Edition Military Night Jersey Thursday June 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Sunset Lounge with the help of JR Thomas.
