La Crosse Spartans News Release
The La Crosse Spartans Professional Indoor Football Team took another step towards participating in the 2010 Indoor Football League (IFL) season. During it's annual league meetings in Baltimore last week, the IFL's board of directors granted conditional approval for the Spartans to enter the league.
"The league meetings were a huge success for our franchise," said Chris Kokalis, Spartans co-owner and general manager. "We met other owners and continued to learn more about the IFL. The professionalism of everyone in this league confirms that the IFL is the right league for the La Crosse Spartans. We still have a lot of work ahead of us but, needless to say, this is a big step forward."
The Spartans will continue to work closely with the La Crosse Center board to formalize a lease agreement.
