ON THE HUNT: Hunter Brown is set to appear following Jonathan Bermudez on Friday, leading the Pacific Coast League with a 2.38 ERA and .186 opponent's batting average, tied for first with 97 strikeouts and second with a 1.11 WHIP. His 12.13 SO/9 is best of Triple A pitchers (min. 70 IP). The 23-year-old represented the Astros in the 2022 All-Star Futures Game, tossing 2/3 of an inning and hitting 99.8 mph with his first pitch. He is rated as the No. 54 prospect in baseball by Baseball America and the No. 83 prospect in baseball by MLB.com. Brown was named Astros Minor League Pitcher of the Month for May.

ENCREDIBLE: Over his last 10 games, Enmanuel Valdez has hit .375 (15x40) with eight doubles, a home run and nine RBI. He leads all Astros minor leaguers with 19 total home runs and 71 RBI. Valdez is fifth of all MiLB players (min. 200 PA) with a .443 weighted on-base average (wOBA). He became the third player in Sugar Land franchise history with a three-homer game on 6/15 in Round Rock, hitting three solo homers in the Space Cowboys win. The other two players to accomplish the feat were Jake Meyers (6/20/21, at El Paso) and Jeremy Peña (9/21/21, vs. Albuquerque).
