Sox lose doubleheader

Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release


The Colorado Springs Sky Sox dropped both games of a double header Saturday with the New Orleans Zephyrs. In game one the Sox fell in 11 innings 2-1. In the second game the Sox had only 4 hits as the Zephyrs topped them 9-0 on a complete game shut out from New Orleans's Doug Sessions. Armando Romero continues to hit the ball for the Sox collecting 3 hits on the day. The Sox continue the series in New Orleans today with Randy Flores (5-4, 4.80) going for the Sox against Rodrigo Rosario (5-7, 4.13) of New Orleans.
