TYDUS MEADOWS - JACKSONVILLE SUNS

Suns' left-fielder Tydus Meadows carried a hot bat to Jacksonville, hitting .450 with a double, 3 home runs, 9 RBI, a .593 on-base percentage and a .950 slugging percentage to earn Hitter of the Week honors. On June 1 at Montgomery, he hit his second home run of the week in the seventh inning to break the 1-1 tie and lead Jacksonville to a 5-1 victory. Meadows ended the week in impressive style, hitting a grand slam June 4 against Mobile to give the Suns a 5-4 lead in their eventual 13-5 victory. The South Division-leading Suns currently own a 5-game winning streak and have been victorious in 13 of their last 14 games.
