Southern Hockey Academy Returns this Week

GREENVILLE, SC – The Southern Hockey Academy will be starting on Monday, June 2nd, and will continue through Friday, June 6th. This is a hockey skills day camp for youth, and will feature instruction from VP of Hockey Operations and Head Coach John Marks, and former Grrrowl assistant Nick Vitucci. Former Grrrowl defenseman Eric VanAcker will also participate, along with power skating instruction from local teacher Cheryl Faust.

Camp will begin each day at 9:00am, ending at 4:30pm, and will be held at the Pavilion on Old Spartanburg Road. The Pavilion is a facility that is owned and operated by the Greenville County Recreation District. Each day that will be a total of 3 hours of on-ice instruction, 3 hours of off-ice instruction. Each camper will receive a camp jersey, and lunch is provided to all campers each day at the Pavilion.

The Grrrowl have recently released the 2003-04 schedule, and will begin its sixth home slate on October 24th against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 PM.
