South Bend Silver Hawks Looking for the Official Welcome Video to the Cove

South Bend, Indiana (April 24, 2013)-Your South Bend Silver Hawks are rolling out a video contest beginning April 29th and ending May 20th. Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to create a 30 second video spot welcoming fans to the Cove.

"We have stated all along this is the community's team so we want to give our fans the opportunity to have some fun and create an energetic video that will be played nightly on one of the largest video boards in baseball. " states Joe Hart, Team President. The winning video will debut on Wednesday, June 5th, on the Silver Hawks' video board, which is larger than several major league video boards, such as the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres and the Oakland A's.

Fans can submit their welcome video link to social@silverhawks.com until midnight on May 20, 2013. The winner will be announced on June 1, 2013. The winner's welcome video will be displayed at every Silver Hawks' home game in June. The winner also receives 2 season seats for the remainder of 2013 and a chance to throw out the first pitch at the June 5th home game against the Lake County Captains.
