The Sounds are currently offering the following special fan experiences through online auctions:
Sounds Card Set ... Featuring You!
Don't miss this chance to be a part of the Nashville Sounds 2004 Team Set. We are offering fans this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity through a special online auction. The winner will have his/her own Nashville Sounds Baseball Card inserted into the official team set for the 2004 Nashville Sounds, the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In addition, the winner will receive four (4) tickets to the Sounds' May 28th game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 150 individual cards, and 10 complete sets.

Join The Sounds' Broadcast Team
Ever dream of being a radio announcer? Here's your chance. Through an online auction, individuals can win the opportunity to sit alongside Chuck Valenches and help to call the action during the April 10th game vs. Colorado Springs.
The winner will receive dinner in our press box, have an opportunity to interview players/coaches, and call nine innings of baseball as the color commentator. In addition, he/she receives a tape of the broadcast and a commemorative plaque with photo.

Sounds Set 2004 Schedule & Promotions; Season Opens April 8th
The Nashville Sounds will begin the defense of their Eastern Division championship when they open the 2004 season with the first of 72 home games on Thursday, April 8th. The Sounds will host 10 day games, 34 weekend dates (Fri.-Sun.), and home contests on Easter Sunday and Memorial Day. Nashville will play four scheduled doubleheaders during the upcoming season (two at home, two on the road).

Anthem Auditions Slated For March 6th
The Nashville Sounds will hold first-come, first-served tryouts for national anthem singers on Saturday, March 6th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greer Stadium.
All individuals and groups who are interested in singing "The Star Spangled Banner" prior to a 2004 home game must audition on this date, including all parties who have sung prior to a game in previous years.
Sounds Spring Training Schedule Set; Roster Taking Shape As Players Head To Florida
The Nashville Sounds have announced their 2004 spring training schedule. Pirates minor-leaguers are scheduled to report to camp during the first week of March (pitchers/catchers on March 6, remaining players on March 10).
The Sounds will participate in their first spring game on Saturday, March 20th against the Cincinnati Reds' Triple-A affiliate, the Louisville RiverBats.
