Sounders Play Whitecaps Friday On FSC

The Seattle Sounders (2-1-3) will be on Fox Soccer Channel, tomorrow night at 8:00 pm, playing the Vancouver Whitecaps at Swangard Stadium in Vancouver. It is Seattle's second game of the season on FSC.

Currently in fifth place with nine points, the Sounders trip to Canada is their first of four consecutive games on the road. The Sounders finished off a three game homestand, Sunday, with a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Silverbacks.

"It's always a great atmosphere at Swangard Stadium, we look forward to the challenge of the Whitecaps," said Coach Schmetzer. "Playing on Fox Soccer Channel is always exciting, our team will be ready."

Don't forget, tickets are now on sale for the Sounders June 12th exhibition match against Juventus Primavera.

A squad of up-and-coming players for Juventus, its Primavera squad features four youth international players. Goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio and midfielders Fausto Rossi and Simone Esposito are all members of Italian Youth National Teams, while defender Yobie Bassaoule is a member of Burkina Faso's (Africa) U-21 National Team.
