MONTREAL - A few days prior to its first Canadian Champions League match, Tuesday, against the Toronto FC, the Montreal Impact announced that midfielder from Rivières-des-Prairies Rocco Placentino has come to terms with the Impact for two seasons plus an option year, pending the league's approval.
NOTES: - Placentino will train with the Impact today at 10:30 am on the Saputo Stadium training field. - The Impact also announced that midfielder Matthew Palleschi has been released. - The Impact will face the Trois-Rivières Attak, Friday, in an exhibition game at Alphonse Desjardins Sports Center, at 7:30 pm.
