After a two-week break from MLS play, Sounders FC (7-4-5, 26 points) returns to action against Vancouver Whitecaps FC (4-6-7, 19 points) on Saturday, June 29 at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
Saturday's match is being broadcast locally on JOEtv and regionally on YouTube TV, featuring Keith Costigan, Kasey Keller and Steve Zakuani on the call, in addition to Michelle Ludtka, Marcus Hahnemann and James Riley providing pre-match, halftime and post-match coverage. Sports Radio 950 KJR AM is airing Saturday's fixture, featuring Matt Johnson on play-by-play and Wade Webber on color commentary, in addition pre-match, halftime and post-match coverage from Andrew Harvey, Pete Fewing and Danny Jackson.
This marks the second meeting of the season between Seattle and Vancouver after a scoreless draw on March 30 at BC Place. This marks the 140th all-time meeting between the two sides, with Seattle holding a 66-50-33 advantage.
Following Saturday's match, Brian Schmetzer's club travels to take on New York City FC on Wednesday, July 3 (4:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360AM).
