Sounders FC Receives $50,000 in General Allocation Money from D.C. United

SEATTLE, WASH. - Sounders FC today announced that it has acquired $50,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) from D.C. United in exchange for a 2022 International Roster Slot. The move brings Seattle's number of International Roster Slots to five as the team continues its 2022 MLS campaign.

Sounders FC has three current international players on the roster: Abdoulaye Cissoko, Léo Chú and Yeimar Gómez Andrade.

After a 2-1 loss to Atlanta United on Saturday, Seattle returns home to face Real Salt Lake on Sunday, August 14 at Lumen Field (7:00 p.m. PT / FOX 13+, Prime Video, Univision-Seattle, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
