Sounders FC Invites Fans to Viewing Parties for Thursday's Match

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Sounders FC invites fans, local businesses and area landmarks to display green lights on Wednesday and Thursday in support of the their Western Conference Semifinal match versus Real Salt Lake on November 8. Fans are also encouraged to wear green or Sounders scarves to work or school.

Travelling Sounders FC fans planning to attend the match in Sandy, Utah on November 8 are invited to a supporters rally from 3:30-6:30 p.m. (MT) at Lumpy's South located at 8925 South Harrison Street .

Other team-related playoff activities include the following. All times listed below are PT.

Wednesday, November 7

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - A giant 30' x 100' Sounders FC scarf will fly along the I-5 corridor in Seattle and along the I-405 corridor between Renton and Kirkland.

Thursday, November 8

8-9 a.m. - Sounders FC fans stage oversize "Scarves Up" banners at the west entrance of the Mt. Baker tunnel.

8-10 a.m. - A giant 30' x 100' Sounders FC scarf will fly along the I-5 corridor in Seattle and along the I-405 corridor between Renton and Kirkland.

6:30 p.m. - Join fans at a Sounders FC viewing party with a chance to win exclusive Sounders FC autographed items.

The winner of Thursday's match will face the San Jose Earthquakes/LA Galaxy victor in the Western Conference Finals.
