Sound Tigers Announce AHL Training Camp Roster

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Sep. 27, 2015) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers today announced their American Hockey League training camp roster. The 43-player group includes 26 forwards, 14 defensemen and three goaltenders.
The New York Islanders loaned 20 players total to the Sound Tigers, including seven that cleared waivers. Players from last year's squad loaned to Bridgeport include Mike Halmo, Scott Mayfield and Adam Pelech.
Tyler Barnes, Matt Carkner and Parker Milner will all attend Bridgeport camp after being released from their Professional Tryouts with the Islanders. The Sound Tigers have also signed 11 players to PTO's.
All 43 players will report to camp on Monday, September 28.
The Sound Tigers open their season on Saturday, October 10 when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Tickets for the season opener, partial and season ticket plans are now available.
