Soul re-sign D-Mo for two more years

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul have re-signed OL/DL Dwayne Missouri. As per club policy, terms of their deals were not disclosed.

Missouri (6'4", 285, Northwestern) the four-year veteran played in all 18 games (16 regular season and 2 playoff games) this year for the Soul. He enjoyed one of his finest seasons having 23 ½ tackles and 5 ½ sacks. Also he proved to be a force on the inside with 5 pass break-ups and 3 forced fumbles.

"We feel Dwayne is one of the best lineman in the AFL and we are happy to have him for the next two years," head coach Bret Munsey said. "Dwayne is one of the cornerstones to get us to our ultimate goal....Arena Bowl XXI".

With the resigning of Dwayne, the Soul have 11 players under contract for the 2007 season (DS Roland Cola, QB Tony Graziani, FB/LB Wes Ours, WR/LB Sean Scott, WR/DB Mike Brown and FB/LB Darnell Small). They also have four players on the exempt list the Soul signed last season during the free agency signing period entering NFL training camps this season (OL/DL Jason Davis, OS Isaac West, DS Aric Williams and DS Brandon Williams).
