Chicago Rush News Release

The James Foster ArenaBowl trophy will be on display next week as part of some of Chicagoland's biggest festivals, the ArenaBowl champion Chicago Rush announced today.

The trophy, along with Rush FB/LB Bob McMillen, will appear at Naperville's Ribfest on Monday, July 3, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. McMillen, the Arena Football League's all-time leading rusher and one of the 20 greatest players in league history, will pose for pictures and sign autographs while thanking fans for their support during the team's championship run. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to pose for pictures with the ArenaBowl trophy.

On Tuesday morning, the trophy, McMillen and Rush lineman John Moyer will ride in the annual Des Plaines July 4th parade. One of the state's largest Independence Day parades, the Des Plaines parade features nearly 100 units and 12,000 people, and steps off promptly at 10 a.m. from the Oakton Street and Center Street area in Des Plaines.

The Rush defeated the Orlando Predators 69-61 June 11 in Las Vegas to capture the ArenaBowl XX title. The win capped an amazing playoff run in which the underdog Rush won three consecutive road games on its way to the championship game.

Season tickets for the 2007 season, which begins in January, are on sale now. Thanks to Discover Card, Rush season ticket prices are remaining unchanged for the 2007 season. To reserve your tickets, or for more information about Rush season tickets, fans can call the Rush at (877) Rush-Tix (787-4849) or visit the team's Web site at www.chicagorush.com.
