
Snappers Announce 2016 Schedule

BELOIT, Wisc.- The Beloit Snappers have announced the schedule for the 2016 season, their 35th year in Beloit. The 140 game schedule includes 70 home games at Pohlman Field against 11 other Major League affiliated Midwest League teams.
The Snappers open the season at home on Thursday, April 7th at 6:30 PM against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
All week day games in April and May are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM CT with the exception of two school day games that are scheduled to start at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 28th against the Lansing Lugnuts and Wednesday, May 11th against the Peoria Chiefs. Saturday home games in April and May will be scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
All Sunday home games are scheduled to start at 2:00 PM. All week day games in June, July, and August are scheduled for a 7:00 PM start with the exception of a noon game on Monday, July 11th so that area summer camps can attend. Another exception is the last game of the season on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. That season finale will be scheduled for a 2:00 PM first pitch.
The Snappers' promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
