
Snappers 2006 Promotions

The Beloit Snappers have released the promotional schedule for 2006, their 25th Season. Fifteen fireworks shows and three bobble head giveaways are the highlights of this year's promotions. Former Beloit Snappers shortstop Bill Hall, former Beloit Brewer Greg Vaughn and the Beloit Brewers mascot, Brewsteer will be the featured bobble heads this season. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a bobble head on each of the three event dates. The scheduled giveaway dates for the bobble heads are June 25 for Brewsteer, July 16 for Bill Hall and August 20 for Greg Vaughn.
The 15 fireworks shows will be held on May 13, May 27, June 10, June 23, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 28, July 29, August 4, August 18, August 19, September 2 and September 3. Last season the Snappers had 12 fireworks shows with an average attendance of 2,897 fans.
Along with the fireworks and bobble head giveaways this season the Snappers will also be giving away magnet schedules (April 6), seat cushions (June 11), t-shirts (July 2), beverage pitchers (July 7), team photos (July 30). All of the giveaways are to the first 500 fans. The first 100 fans, 21 and older, will receive a Snappers 25th Season pint glass sponsored by Hooters.
Returning again this season will be the Snappers two kids' days. The Snappers will host "Honor Roll Day" April 20 at 11:00 am, an educational twist on the annual field trip day for schools. July 18 at noon will be "Camp Snappy Day," a yearly event for summer camp kids.
