The Snappers are almost a week away from opening their 25th Season of Baseball in Beloit and there are a select number of tickets remaining for the annual Meet The Snappers Night at Central Christian Church Tuesday, April 4. The doors open to the public at 6:00 pm and the event should last approximately two hours. Tickets should be purchased in advance at the Snappers Administrative Office at Pohlman Field.
The team is inviting the public to Pohlman Field on Wednesday, April 5 to watch the team workout for the first time in Beloit before taking the field Thursday, April 6 against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The Snappers are scheduled to workout at 6:00pm and should be on the field for about an hour.
Tickets are available for the Snappers Opening Day on Thursday, April 6. The new Thirsty Thursday special at Leinie's Lodge is available for $17. Fans receive a general admission ticket plus an all you can eat menu (hot dogs, chips, peanuts, soda and beer).
