Snakes Playoff Run Begins Tonight

The fourth-seeded Columbus Cottonmouths head to Huntsville to take on the third-seeded Huntsville Havoc Thursday, March 31 for game one of the first round of the SPHL playoffs. Due to scheduling conflicts with the Von Braun Center, the game will be played at the Wilcoxon Municipal IcePlex, which seats under 700 people.

While America One will not provide a video broadcast of tonight's playoff game, fans locally can tune their radios to 106.9 FM to hear Mike Vee deliver the play-by-play broadcast live from the Benton Wilcoxon Memorial Iceplex in Huntsville.

For those outside of the Columbus area who wish to listen to the game, the radio signal is also broadcast online via the TuneIn Radio application, which is available not only on personal computers but on smartphones such as iPhones and BlackBerry and Android devices. Log on to http://tunein.com to download the application and for more details.

Game two of the series will be at the Snake Pit Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. A third and final game, if necessary, will be played at the Wilcoxon Municipal IcePlex Sunday, April 3 at 6 p.m. ET. The winner of this series advances to face the winner of the Augusta/Pensacola series in a second, best-of-three series.

Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Cottonmouths office before 5:30 pm on Saturday, visiting ticketmaster.com or the Civic Center box office.
