Sevierville, Tenn. - The Smokies (14-4, 49-39) were unable to take the field Thursday night due to unplayable conditions at Smokies Park. Tennessee will take the field in a doubleheader against the Huntsville Stars (7-6, 49-35) Friday night at 6:15.
Gates will open at 5:00 as Nick Stocks (6-5, 4.47) will face Pedro Liriano (5-9, 2.96) in the first game and Julio Villalon (3-0, 1.95) will pitch against Ben Hendrickson (3-1, 2.77) in the second game.
Tennessee is coming off a three day All Star Game break. The Smokies lead the Carolina Mudcats by four games as of Thursday.
