Slaughter Announce 2011 Schedule

Chicago Slaughter News Release


The Chicago Slaughter, owned by Chicago Bears fan favorites, 1985 Super Bowl Champion Jim McMahon and led by Head Coach and 1985 Super Bowl Chicago Bears star, Steve "Mongo" McMichael have released their 2011 season schedule. Jarrett Payton, son of legendary great NFL Walter Payton and star running back at #34 is back for what hopes to be a successful 2011 season.

The Chicago Slaughter are ready for a fun and exciting fan-friendly season by kicking off the home opener on Saturday, February 26th against the Omaha Beef, where the first 2,500 fans will receive magnetic schedules. Head Coach Steve "Mongo" McMichael says, "We want to Slaughter the Beef on opening night, and we want our fans to be apart of the excitement!" On Saturday, March 5th the Slaughter will be hosting a Mardi Gras Family Fun Night with a Dance and Cheer Fest earlier that day where the Grand Champion will be selected by the fans that night. The Slaughter will host their first ever All-Scout Rockin' Lock-In on Saturday, April 9th, where scouts and their leaders will be able to stay overnight at the Sears Centre for games, movies and lots of fun. Friday, April 29th the Slaughter will celebrate Halfway to Halloween Family Fun Night, where everyone can come out to the game in their best costumes and win great prizes. Cruise-In Night will be on Saturday, June 4th, where fans can come to the game to see vintage and custom cars, bikes and trucks brought to you by Universal Technical Institute.

Going into their fifth season, the Chicago Slaughter play their home games at the Sears Centre Arena conveniently located in Hoffman Estates off I-90 and Rt. 59. The Sears Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that provides Slaughter fan's with the ultimate family-friendly experience. Slaughter owner Jim McMahon said, "The Sears Centre is the perfect place for our fans."
