
Slammers Top Washington in Series Opener 2-1 Tuesday Night

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy were led by Scot Hoffman vs. the Washington Wild Things. Hoffman tossed a gem Tuesday night for the Slammers. Hoffman pitched seven innings giving up four hits, with one walk allowing one run while striking out eight.
Dom Iero started the scoring for the Slammers in the bottom of the 2nd with an RBI double that scored Trenton Hill. London Lindley then walked with the bases loaded bringing home Travis Bolin making it 2-0.
Washington got on the board in the top of the 4th with Roman Collins bringing home James Harris on a sacrifice fly making it 2-1.
Tonight's Merchants and Manufacturers Bank Player of the Game is Scot Hoffman who earned his third win of the season for the Slammers after a dominant outing.
The Slammers are back home tomorrow against the Wild Things at 7:05 p.m.
