After allowing 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, Boomer pitcher Payton Lobdell settled in and held the Slammers scoreless until he left the game in the 5th inning with what looked to be an apparent arm injury. Lobdell finished with 6 hits, 7 strikeouts, and 2 earned runs.
