
Slammers Back at Home for Six Starting Tuesday

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy begin an exciting six game home stretch at Joliet Route 66 Stadium for two series after the Frontier League's All Star Week. The two series will feature $2 tickets, suite specials, fireworks, and more.
On Tuesday, July 17, the Slammers kick off their series against the River City Rascals at 7:05 pm. Tuesday is Union Night and Job Fair Night. Fans can purchase reserved tickets for just $2 and receive access to an exclusive hiring event hosted by the Slammers and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce held on the concourse during the game from 6 to 8 pm. Some of the attending companies include Paramount Staffing, Sony DADC, University of Phoenix- Chicago Campus, Warehouse Services Inc, CoWorx, Ellwood Crankshaft Group, and more. Also, any union that buys 100 tickets at $2 each gets a free suite while supplies last.
Day Camp Day is on Wednesday, July 18. Wednesday's game begins with a special start time of 10:05 am. Post-game, kids can run the bases.
Thursday night's 7:05 game recognizes youth baseball groups. Youth Baseball Night offers ticket specials for youth baseball groups, prize giveaways for teams, and catch on field post-game. Also, Thursday Night is Thirsty Thursday presented by Bud Light, featuring $2 Bud, Bud Light, $2 sodas, and $4 Jim Beam and Ole Smoky moonshine cocktails.
The Slammers take on the Florence Freedom on Friday, July 20 for Rotary Night. Nine area Rotary Clubs are raising funds to eradicate polio. Fans can enjoy a silent auction on the concourse with funds benefiting the Rotary Foundation. Post-game fireworks will follow.
Pokémon Go Night kicks off at 6:05 pm on Saturday, July 21. Grow your friends list, exchange gifts, and trade Pokémon with other Slammers fans. Earn Slammers prizes for Pokémon caught during the game.
Pet Day is on Sunday, July 22. All pets on leashes or in carriers are welcome to the 1:05 pm game. Prizes will be awarded to various categories, including most unusual pet, cutest pet, and more. Post-game, kids can run the bases and there will be full team autographs.
