Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce (9-7, 62.0, 3.9) visits the Gary Steelheads (7-8, 51.0, 3.4) tonight at 7:05 pm at the Genesis Convention Center.

'Force Facts:

First Meeting Tonight's game will be the first meeting between these two opponents this season. The Steelheads are the only team in the CBA that the ‘Force has not played yet this season. Last season the ‘Force went 3-1 against the Steelheads, however, the three victories could have gone either way. The ‘Force was destroyed in the first meeting last season in Gary 104-74 (6.5, 0.5) and won the final three meetings 91-85 (5.5, 1.5), 107-102 (5.0, 2.0), and 115-112 (4.5, 2.5).

Familiar Face Steelheads fans will recognize a familiar face tonight when the Skyforce takes the court as former fan favorite Jemeil Rich is now running the show for Sioux Falls. He averaged 15.3 ppg and 9.2 apg in 137 career games (2002-05) with the Gary Steelheads. He holds every assist record with the Steelheads including assist in a single game (23), assists in a season (498), and career assists (1,265). Rich was not just a distributor though as he is also the franchise's all-time leading scorer with 2,105 points over three seasons. Rich currently leads the CBA with 9.7 apg.

Hunter Gets Tryout Skyforce forward Brandon Hunter was not in the lineup on Wednesday night against the Michigan Mayhem as he was invited for a tryout with the Houston Rockets. Hunter played the last two seasons in the NBA and has been the dominant big man in the league so far this season. He is currently averaging 23.9 ppg and 11.9 rpg and is tied for the league lead with 11 double-doubles. Hunter had his best game of the season this past Tuesday night as he torched the Patroons for 30 points and snagged 16 rebounds. If Houston does not sign him he could be in the lineup tonight.
