Skyforce Acquires Garcia from Energy

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Nov. 1, 2011) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired forward Charles Garcia from the Iowa Energy in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft.

Garcia averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11 games with the Iowa Energy (2) and Utah Flash (9) last season. He was named the Independent Player of the Year after averaging 18.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 31 games (23 starts) at Seattle University in 2009-10. The 6-9, 220-pound forward played two seasons at Riverside Junior College before transferring to Seattle.

Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs for the 2011-12 season are on sale. Discounts and benefits are available for groups of 10 or more. Single game tickets will go on sale on Monday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. The home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 26 against the defending NBA D-League champion Iowa Energy.
