NEW YORK, Feb 4, 2013 - Sioux Falls Skyforce teammates Demetris Nichols and Donald Sloan were today named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played Jan. 28-Feb. 3. The duo led the Skyforce to a 2-0 record last week.

Nichols (6-6, 211, Syracuse) averaged 30.0 points on 63 percent shooting from the field to go with 4.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists in two games for the Skyforce last week. He scored a season-high 34 points on 12-of-20 shooting on Feb. 1 in a 117-114 win over the Reno Bighorns. This season he is averaging 17.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 34.8 minutes for the Skyforce. The award is the second for Nichols this season, having first earned it on Jan. 21.

Sloan (6-3, 205, Texas A&M) finished the week averaging 18.0 points, 9.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 41 percent from the floor. He recorded his second double-double of the season when he finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds in a Feb. 1 win over Reno.

Other top performers considered include Austin's Cory Joseph, Bakersfield's Jerel McNeal, Canton's Josh Selby on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Erie's Henry Sims, Idaho's Sean Evans, Iowa's Quincy Miller on assignment from the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles' Elijah Millsap, Maine's Omar Reed, Reno's Dar Tucker, Rio Grande Valley's Terrence Jones on assignment from the Houston Rockets, Santa Cruz's Travis Leslie, Springfield's James Mays, Texas' Rashad McCants, and Tulsa's Dominique Sutton.
