Single Game Tickets On Sale October 4th

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce that tickets for its entire 2008-2009 home schedule, including its two preseason contests, will go on sale to the public Saturday, October 4th at 10 a.m. at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Celebrating the unofficial start of hockey season, the K-Wings will be welcoming fans on October 4th with a live radio remote hosted by WZUU 92.3 FM from 10 a.m.-noon. Kalamazoo's favorite mascot, Slappy and the K-Wings Puck Shoot Booth will also be part of the festivities.

Enticing fans to see the K-Wings on opening night, the team is offering a ticket special on October 4th. Any fan that purchases tickets to the 5th Annual Orange Ice Game presented by Outdoor Services, WWMT and WZUU 92.3 FM on October 25th will receive a FREE ticket to see the K-Wings first preseason contest against the Muskegon Fury on Wednesday, October 8th. This offer is only valid on Saturday, October 4th.

The first chance that fans will get to see the K-Wings at home will be on Wednesday, October 8th versus the Muskegon Fury at 7:11 p.m. in the first of three preseason games for Kalamazoo.

The K-Wings will stay at Wings Stadium on Friday, October 10th for a 7:30 p.m. faceoff against the Fort Wayne Komets in the first half of a home and home series. Tickets for all preseason home games are only $5.

Kalamazoo will conclude the preseason on the road versus Fort Wayne on Saturday, October 11th at 7:30 p.m.

Single-game tickets for any of the K-Wings 38 regular season home games tickets will also be available on Saturday, October 4th. Kalamazoo opens its home schedule on October 25th at 7:30 p.m. during the 5th Annual Orange Ice Game presented by Outdoor Services, WWMT and WZUU 92.3 FM against the Komets.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the 7th Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL 101 FM and WWMT TV3 as the K-Wings host the Fury, the first-ever Golden Ice Game presented by McDonald's, WOTV and WNWN as the K-Wings host the Bloomington PrairieThunder on January 31st and the 9th Annual Pink Ice Game presented by The CW 7 and WKFR on February 14th versus the Port Huron Icehawks.

One of the most historic traditions in hockey will continue Monday, March 17th as the K-Wings host the Fury in the 28th Annual "World Famous" Fifth-Third Bank

St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game presented by The CW 7 and WRKR.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.

All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game (including the preseason) on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2008-2009 season are still on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
